Many of us build websites, thinking “if we build it, they will come”. But students are innundated with information and media. What do you *really* want to do with your website? How can your website help you reach your unit goals? And how can you easily tie it all in to assessment and KPIs? Come learn about setting website goals, utilizing a cohesive website strategy, and using Google Analytics to measure it all.

If you’ve wanted to use email marketing before, but didn’t want to pay for a service, now is your chance to try it at no cost to your unit. We’ll discuss access, list-building, email creation, and analytics. Reach students more effectively, through the medium they prefer!

Google Analytics can be a powerful tool, not just counting visitors, but for assessing goals, mapping traffic, and leaning more about our students and how they use our websites. Learn how to access and use Google Analytics to improve your website and engagement with your users.

Learn about the array of videoconferencing tools that are supported by the university and those that are commonly used for candidate interviews, virtual meetings, webinars and group meetings, and how to choose the one that best fits your needs. We’ll play with Google Plus/Hangouts, Blackboard Collaborate, SkypePlus, Jabber, and the coolest new kid on the block: Blue Jeans, and you will leave with the keys to at least two of them.
